Bill Knott is the editor and executive publisher of the Adventist Review and Adventist World magazines, the oldest and most widely distributed journals of the global Seventh-day Adventist Church. Before joining the Adventist Review staff in 1997 as an associate editor, he served as a pastor in New England, Michigan, New York, and Washington State. He is a graduate of Atlantic Union College, and earned a master of divinity degree from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. In 2006, he completed a Ph.D. in American Religious History at George Washington University. Knott has authored hundreds of articles for church periodicals during nearly 30 years of ministry, and is a frequent speaker at campmeetings, academic conferences, youth and young adult events, and pastors’ meetings. He is married to Deborah (Rochon) Knott, M.S., who is a specialist in the Office of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty at the church’s world headquarters. The Knotts have two sons—Evan, 16, and Brady, 15.

Before accepting the positions of General Field Secretary of the General Conference and the Presidency of AWR, Dr. Benjamin Schoun was President of two Unions, Andrews University Associate Dean, a college professor, pastor and author. His publications include a book on support systems for pastors entitled Helping Pastors Cope and a number of articles. Ben is an international speaker, and in his work he has traveled to more than 80 countries of the world. He has a wide range of skills including church leadership and conflict management. His energy and enthusiasm is infectious as he shares the mission and message of Jesus Christ.
